The Selection Round Has Concluded!
The First Murdock International Piano Competition has completed its inaugural online selection round. Our distinguished jury—Eleonora Karpukhova, Lisa Nakamichi, and Enrico Elisi—carefully evaluated an exceptional field of 185 pianists from around the world.
Following an extensive review process, 8 outstanding pianists have been selected as semifinalists and will travel to Eugene this October to compete live at Beall Hall. In addition, 4 exceptional pianists have been named as alternates should a semifinalist be unable to participate.
