Murdock International Piano Competition
The Murdock International Piano Competition is the first professional-level international piano competition in the beautiful state of Oregon. We are proud to announce that the final round will be broadcast worldwide through Spiriocast, bringing the award-winning performances of the three finalists to Steinway Spirio pianos across the globe. With a total prize fund of $20,000, in addition to several orchestral and solo engagements in Oregon, the competition aims to identify and support the next generation of outstanding pianists, encourage the creation of new piano works, and inspire audiences through performances of the highest artistic level. Learn more about the Solo Piano Composition Award on our website. The competition will be held in three phases: a preliminary online round, followed by live semifinal and final rounds in Eugene, Oregon.
